In an era where everyone is exponentially more aware of our environment and the need for sustainable green design, the architecture firm MAD Architects brings "Gardenhouse" to the iconic Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. This innovative use of contemporary and classic design intermingles elements of human ingenuity with the rhythm of nature.
The building's main structure is enveloped in a living wall that is one of the most magnificently sized versions in the United States. The luscious plants are native and survive well in low humidity. Atop the structure are eighteen residences that are created from white glass panels with pitched gabled roofs that are ensconced with ascending treetops.
